Hi, this is mainly aimed at buenchico as he seems to be really clued up on digi cams - what do you think of the Olympus C-760 with 3.2 Megapixels, 10x optical zoom/30x digital? Please.

...mmm...lots of advice there..just two recomendations......MINIMUM 5 Megapixels, this will give you scope for cropping your photos.... and forget digital Zoom, just go for the best Optical Zoom ..10X is nice.....commoner

...mm...plenty of good advice there....but please get a MINIMUM of 5 Megapixels and ignore the Digital Zoom spiel...get the best Optical zoom you can afford and rechargeable batteries.....the 5 mps will let you crop your pics and still get good results......commoner

Thank you all so much! Your advice has been mighty helpful. I think I will choose the C-760 - I really like how it looks and it feels really comfortable to hold aswell as all the other good stuff. My brother is getting me it for Xmas - he's in New Zealand. I'm not sure what it costs - but I'm sure it will be a lot less than it costs here in the U.K. Thanks again - you guys are great! Laurinha x
