I recently started a new job in a hotel (8weeks ago) and there is a guy that stays every week. We talk every time we see each other and we have loads in common, I really want to ask him on a date but don't know wether it would be right a member of staff asking a guest out?
HELP???

well, I said it would be unprofessional, but maybe I am being a hypocrite as I met my OH in a similarly unprofessional manner 40 years ago. Sometimes you just have to go for it.

louise....this may not be of any help...BUT

I knew a girl (no not mrs sqad) who between qualifying and starting her teaching post worked as a chamber maid in a hotel in Devon. Her early morning task was to take a cup of tea to this bloke (not me) that she fancied. On the last day, she put the cup of tes on the bed table and got into bed with him.

He didn't decline her offer........or the cup of tea.
Go for it - it's not the mistakes you make which stay to haunt you - it's the things you didn't do...
If you have been seeing him for 8 weeks now, I would have thought he would have made his feelings known by now and asked you out.
Could he be married?
I wouldn't do it if it were me and I wanted to keep my job tbh

He's not married he made that pretty clear
Perhaps he needs a little bit of encouragement if you see what I mean, nuge nudge wink wink. Don't lose your job though.
