cancer stage C anyone familliar with this?

my sister has had a hystrectomy, and they say she is stage c can anyone explain? she will need treatment , has anyone been in this situation or know of someone, THANKYOU in advance x

By your posting, I would assume that she has endometrial cancer.

Endometrium is the inner part of the uterus and the muscular part is called the myometrium.

The cancer can be confined to the endometrium...........Stage A
The cancer is spread to the myometrium.........................Stage B
The cancer involves all the myometrium........................Stage C.
