Dermatologist question please answer!!!

ok i have a dermatology appointment coming up and was wondering how it will go about. I have mild acne on my face back chest and yes a little on my butt :/. also i have some stretch marks on my upper thighs and butt also ughhh along with some bumps on my hands and arms. My question is what clothes will need to be removed and if soo will i be provided a gown if i am nude head to toe -_- also how will the exam go about

I'd go with the idea of stripping down to your knickers. If a woman you'd get to keep your bra on. You might not have to take your trousers off he/she might just lower the trousers to look at your butt. The dermatologist will just need to look to make a diagnosis.

keep on undies...may be given a gown ...but may not be necessary ..a quick peek after dropping trousers/lifting skirt should be enough I would think..

I'd think logically about where they will need to look and dress as appropriately as possible. Not sure if you are male/female but wear easily accessible roomy clothing eg for a girl, leggings you can just pull down a bit or a soft material skirt you can pull up/down, something not tight or buttoned etc... a loose tshirt you can pull up rather than a shirt you have to unbutton.

Medical professionals are used to see people in all kinds of states of undress and should make it as quick and dignified for you as they can but they need to see what they need to and sometimes that's just something you have to do to get some help for it.

have you been referred for all these problems? It may be if you have been referred for acne, they wont want to look at your bum as well
