A huge question......so i will precis it in my own words whilst you look up boxy's link.
I disagree with boxy's comment that both are" REALLY nasty diseases".....although I would prefer to be cancer free, but there are many other...many other malignant diseases that are far worse than Hodgkins.
It depends upon many factors, which type, at what age of diagnosis, at what stage of diagnosis and expertise of the treatment centre.
In a nutshell and speaking very broadly....... Hodgkins Lymphoma has a much better prognosis than Non Hodgkins Lymphoma.
At an early stage Hodgkins Lymphoma has a 80-100% 5-10year survival rate.......'it is curable one might say.
