After recording a TV programme on my DVD recorder it tells me that I have to finalise the DVD before it can be played on another machine, does this mean that if my recorder breaks down before I finalise a disc, I can never play it again or can another machine finalise it ?

don't really know but if i don't finalise a multi-session music cd i it can still be played on any machine
