Sky calm(for the min!!), no wind, and generally ok but after yesterdays gale force wind and torrential rain it could all change within the hour!

This splitting it between Sky and the Beeb might be OK for those who have Sky, but when we don't, the excitement is somewhat muted.

i do not have sky..just virgin media.

i was furious when i learned that sky had poached f1.

like you say, we now only get a few of the races fully shown on the beeb (like tomorrows)
the rest are highlights only.

It's obscene, quite frankly. We pay a TV licence, then pay a company for more channels, (unless you go the freeview route) then asked to pay more to watch the sports or film channels.

Late up this morning (7) but my ironing done already (hate doing it).

Sunny here but still a wind blowing fluffy cotton balls in the sky past.....hopefully it will calm a little and so I can get out to draw. Shopping first though, after coffee, and probably having to run my 19 year old Godson somewhere towards Oxford.

Mornin' Sno' and all....a sunny start here but before we got to Tesco it was raining again.....lots of sporty stuff going on and that suits me but not Mrs C....she'll be off spending my pension on stuff for the Hols...Down to the Lizzard in two weeks.
Tesco gave me two car window flags for free ..yippee! What fun..:-)

back home now and this part of the very south west looks bright and sunny. 3 loads of washing out. have explored the garden and the wrabbits has increased in number and boldness. off to load the gun.
