i think "wuss" is the word you were looking for!!!!!
I used to love them. last time I went to a funfair it was 6d per ride.
I love the gondola/bucket type ones which spin you up and out as you go round (if that makes sense?), not fast or exciting but feels like you're floating almost.

Was never that keen on the pirate ships though.
Hate hate hate.....my son wanted me to go on a ride Sunday afternoon, it was like an octopus and I thought it was just going to go round and round up and down.... Couldn't of been more wrong, it spun round in circles coming within inches of the other cars and the barriers.

Eventually it came to a stop and then the git in the kiosk boomed out "who wants to go backwards"

I just shut my eyes then and held on for dear life whilst son was giggling his head off.
That sounds like the twisters Elvis.
"scared the **** out of me! "

That must have been a treat for the people in the next car
LOL elvis...im with you on that... i used to love that ride and last time crapped myself on it.... worst fairground ride ive ever been on were those 'eggs' ..dont think i would ever get on those again even for a million quid..
hate. if I want to throw up i'll drink champagne to excess.
