Complex little girls

I never had sisters when I was a child so did not realise how complex little girls can be. My question is this: do all 10 year old girl act like moody young adults???????? If so how lo0ng will this last?

Having two daughters, I would say thats probably the age it starts and you have got at least another six or seven years to go and then they are moody young adults. (Only joking)

I have two daughters, twenty and seventeen.My eldest was very moody from about ten onwards until she was eighteen. my youngest was a ray of sunshine until she was fifteen, now she carries the weight of the world around on her shoulders.
It must be the hormones and exams!

Have to agree with the previous postings. My two older girls are thirty and twenty-nine, and now the sixteen-year-old is doing it, I'm frankly too old to care!

Seriously, try and let as much go as you can - most of the moods are forgotten within hours, and you'll be pleased at how your daughter will switch from being moody and miserable, to loving and affectionate, with no apparent warning!

It's part of growing up - it does pass.

I was an exceptionally moody teenager. My mum got the brunt of it as I recall. My parents nicknamed me MG (misery guts)! I think the worst of it lasted from age 12 - 14. So you should get some respite in ooh...four years or so! Then again some might say women are perpetually moody!!

Bear in mind that a lot of girls start their period at 11 so that might be behind the moodiness. I had raging PMT every month from the age of ten for a year BEFORE my periods started!

i have 3 girls 6, 8 and 10!!

the 10 yr old is very moody and weepy every now and again I put it down to hormones. Eventually it will all settle down - I hope.
