Can anyone tell me what the disease is called that can make you go blind that is in dog poo?

It contains a parasite called Toxocariasis which can cause blindness.

dog poo is horrible stuff and as a dog owner I would urge everyone to scoop the poop where necessary but the risk of getting toxicara from a pet dog that is wormed regularly is practically nil.

While out with our 8yr old twins a womans dog ran up and bit a hole in my sons ball. she just walked off. there was dog poo all over the park so my daughter is doing a poster to put up.

But if the dogs are wormed, then there is no parasite there...Is there somewhere that she is allowed to put up the poster? Wouldn't she be better getting on to the council who should be taking care of the park?
