How many of you folk attend church on a Sunday, and if not why not ?

I was forced, (not exactly physically dragged along, but pressure applied), to go as a child but I drifted away very quickly indeed - in fact I spent many Sundays in the Water Works (park) in Belfast, leaving just about the same time Sunday school got out. Strange coincidence?

Still happy to attend weddings and funerals as I would hate to be so stupid that I would miss a big day/chance to offer my condolences, just because I don't agree.

I have respect for religion itself, insofar as it offers a lot of people comfort and condolence in times of trouble, but I also have so many criticisms of organised religion that I could be here all night.

I agree Duncer - that some "arms" of the so-called Christian church give us "normal" Christians a bad name by their way-out theories and practices.
