The KM Links Game - June week 5 and results

Good morning all - very nippy down my way so that should mean a nice day, but then who knows !! btw alba, that sun, of which I spoke, is a round ball of golden cheese that comes and goes at whim and sometimes I think it melts and causes traffic jams - darned unpredictable thing !!

Tell you what or better still who is unpredictable !! and I thought one of these would be tricky - guess which one nobody predicted -

and the STAR TURN came from X-RAY, who successfully picked the other three, so very well done you, and all the other points scorers - a tidy little haul to round off a busy month

Next weekend sees the start of a new contest, so sharpening our intellect we'll reconvene next Saturday for the initial assault - till then stay safe dry and warm and I'll catch you later - skz

Good morning Steff and thanks for all your good work - cannot believe that I'm 3rd on KM and 1st on MM this month - must have been something I ate !
Gen2 asked me to be MM setter for July which I have provisionally accepted but woke up at 4.00 am this morning worrying about my severe lack of IT skills and couldn't get back to sleep! Hopeless. The expression "cut & paste" leaves me floundering - I used to be able to do it with a pair of scissors and that water and flour mixture!

I was just playing around with the scores and measures of average - the arithmetic mean is 5.5 points, the median score is 5 points and one of the modes is 5 points. So I know my place!

According to Collins Concise Dictionary 21st Century Edition it's Index Case (Med) the first case of a disease. I had never heard of cased index so I checked and that's what I found.

Cold wet and windy here, and as I am just down the road from Wimbledon, I am wondering how much tennis we will get today!
