Can i claim tax back for my Union contributions? If so how do i go about this and what are the circumstances which allow this?

Union membership fees ARE tax- deductible where HMRC deems that such membership can be regarded as necessary for the type of employment undertaken AND the relevant union is approved for that purpose by HMRC.
