Why will she be, em10? I'm not being obtuse but if you have read the details of this case you will know that no force was used, she wasn't threatened or frightened, she suffered no physical harm and the whole episode was described in court as 'fleeting', lasting a very short time.

The boy admitted it so she didn't have to give evidence. There was no physical exam of the girl needed as there would be nothing to see.

If the parents and family handle it well then it should not 'ruin her life'.

I would of course be outraged and extremely upset, naturally.

I have discussed this with my wife and other women and they tell me that this incident is not nearly as a bad as it would have been if he had committed vaginal rape, especially as there was no force, threats, fear, physical harm and it lasted less than a minute.
The fact he admitted it straight away saved the girl from further trauma.

jno, I was trying to advocate that he was legally responsible at 14, although he very well may be, just ratifying the earlier post that we were talking about two children, which we patently are not. To say it was two children makes a vile event sound like a playground prank by two kids, rather than the abuse that it was; an abuse of his superior age and strength.

Hypothetical question - would it have been as bad, or not as bad, had he put something else disgusting in her mouth (that couldn't poison her)? Eg Worms, a slug?

Stop making excuses for this wretch. He abused her and that's all there is to it, other than deliberation over the level of his punishment. The internet is not to blame, he is. If he had put a worm or a slug in her mouth it would have been childish, but nasty, play. He didn't! He put his penis in her mouth and was sentient enough to tell her to close her eyes and not tell anyone. Hardly a mistake?

If I rapaed someone tonight I would be punished, and deservedly so. I would not say "what if I had put a worm or a slug in her instead".
