How can Cameron put a block on immigrants into this country just because they are Greek?
I would have though that this would have been against EU rules which says there are no closed borders to EU members.
/// “We obviously have contingency plans for all sorts of eventualities – that is the right thing to do for any government,” he said. ///
He seems to be always coming out with those seven words "that is the right thing to do".
But when is he ever going to do 'The Right Thing'? and that is to put a cap on immigration and get out of the EU.

If the principle works for them it must also be permissible for extra-Schengen states e.g. the UK.
In any case any Member State can choose to ignore EU rules at any stage; the only sanctions are political (no financial penalties are legally enforceable) and the ultimate sanction is expulsion from the undemocratic behemoth that is the EU.

I wondered why it was just Greeks - perhaps we have enough Greek restaurants. I'm getting a bit cheesed off with Dave, he is not the man I thought he would turn out to be, having said that the alternative(Nck Park's brainchild) is dire. Cameron hints of a promised land in the EU once it gets over this uncertaincy, I wish he would listen to his back benchers and the general public. Getting out of the EU would be the 'right thing to do'.
