Hi All
if when my sweet williams have finished flowering rather than remove them from the garden if i cut them right back would they flower again next year.

Give it a try. Some are perennial, some not. Depends on the conditions. You could save some seed though! Then at least you would get some the year after next!

thanks for your reply it just seems a shame after the beautiful flowers this year to pull out and throw the roots away after taking 2 years to get there but if i have to i will save the seeds and do it all again

Keep them then, roizee -just cut them back and see what happens!
i remember my nan having a flowerbed of them... she never touched them at all...they came back year after year... i used to knock the seeds out as a kid all the time, they just grew every year
