Hi I am running Vista
whenever I open a page or window my cursor is always moving which is most annoying when I want to see the content of a specific piece I find that I am juggling the mouse to keep it over what I want to view. Is it a form of screen saver or just an annoyance?
Can I stop it?
TIA

Theoretically it could be a virus or malware which is causing the problem. (Run a full scan your with your anti-virus software. Download, install and run the free version of Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware: http://www.malwarebyt..._ehg7ECFZMctAodwQ5E9g )

In practice though, whenever I've encountered such problems it's always simply been because of a defective mouse. It won't cost much to find out if that's also the cause of your problem. Asda will sell you a new one for £2.95:

(I can recommend that product; I'm using one myself!).

Hi Chris
Changed my mouse , still the same
At work I am using Win XP and the same problem exists.
Funnily enough when I am using my mouse in the AB it doesn`t move except where I direct it with the mouse
any suggestions
By the way I have run full scans on a weekly basis using my Norton 360 software
You should feed your mouse occasionally so it won't go out looking for food.
Does it do this all the time or just occasionally? Mine used to do this until I gave it a wipe.
