I have been bothered for months now and could hardly walk latterly.
Went to a chiropractor or osteopath on Monday and she realighned everything and said it would be un comfortable for a few days.Well its Sunday now and I can feel it.It feels more muscular. now but still uncomfy to walk.
Am I expecting too much too soon?There was a fair few needing adjusted..

If you've been stuggling with this for months it might be worth going to your GP and asking for a referral for Physiotherapy. They would take your history go thorough back examination, treat the condition and give you advice/exercises etc for prevention of further problems. sorry have no experience of chiropractors or osteopaths so wouldn't know what to expect. Hope it gets better soon.

I have suffered for 3 years with lower back pain. I had treatment from an Osteopath, and a Phisiotherapist before seeing a Rhumatologist who had me xrayed and found out that I have a herniated or slipped disc. I have had more phisio in water which helped a great deal. This is something that is hard to treat unless you have an operation which I don't want. The good news is it has eased off now but the best treatment is to do gentle exercise that strengens your back muscles which in turn supports your spine better and eases the pain. See your GP and ask for a physiotherapy referal.
Once there ask to see somone with a MACP membership. These are the spinal experts in the physio world. If they don't have anyone on their staff who has MACP membership any of the physio's will be able to asses your back properly and make an accurate diagnosis.
Your GP will try to fob you off with pain killers or anti-inflamatories (NSAID's), but hold out for the referral.
In the meantime all the research says keep moving and maintain "Good" posture.
