It got me thinking. If you could change the end of a literary work what would it be?
I wouldn't kill off Cordelia at the end of Lear. At the end of Ulysses I'd have Molly and Leo canoodling rather than just lying with their silly thoughts.

interesting question, not sure i would change most endings of books i have loved. But Hard Times by Charles Dickens is light on laughs, maybe would could add a few chuckles in their some place.
