puddings and desserts

this is a quiz i am doing, the answers are all puddings or desserts. eg thrown at weddings = rice or rotund northener = yorkshire pudding. so it is not neccessarily a sweet dessert or pudding.

this has been posted many times recently but noone has ever came up with the answer would be interested to know though

The only thing I can come up with is Hasty Pudding - hasty for hot headed and diplomat being the name of a pudding.

I'm definitely not convinced about this but could the answer be 'flambeed'.

As far as I know it's not the name of a particular pudding but 'flambee' may be the 'hot' part of the clue and 'd' is at the head of diplomat.
