I have a Mitsubishi Pinin on which the ABS warning light has been stuck on since new. Its just failed its first MOT because of this. Neither the Dealer or the local garges can diagnose why, can anyone help?

cant understand why it wasnt dealt with under warranty if the fault was there from new, if they have problems diagnosin the fault they usually get the manufacturer involved ,It could clearly be a safety issue and us such shouldnt have been driven until it was corrected by the dealer. The whole point of the warning light is to let you know there is a problem with the system that needs attention.
or is it an import ?
