My L reg Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8TD keeps cutting out in the morning or after not driving it for a few hours! What could be wrong with it?

Hi, has you been servicing the car lately? have you been changing Derv filters? If yes, was there a problem before you done the service r? If not to my questions check under the car is there derv loss? have you ran the car very very low on derv? if so, you have picked up air in the system. Untold dirt gets into the derv filters replace the lot including (If fitted ) an in-line filter.
