Outside looks definitely overcast and rainy here in South Cambridgeshire. The July Meeting at Newmarket is on today. Is it July already? I thought it was February. Will spend the next few minutes looking for runners with webbed hooves; Timeform is singularly inadequate in that respect;or a clue as to their aquatic abilities in the breeding and name, such as 'Flood Boy,bay colt by Running Water out of Burst Pipe'.
Have a good day, wherever you are. Now,where did I put grandad's galoshes?

They changed the days from Friday to Monday recently - change of contract - but it does work better.
We've a blue bin for plastics, papers tins and cardboard but you can't put plastic bags in it. Even those which have been made from recycled material.
Black is general household waste, brown is for garden stuff and you've got to be careful what sort of garden waste is put in. A green bucket for glass.
Blooming heck DT, you're right, you do all the work. I feel sorry for those who should be enjoying a quieter life.

'Morning all a sunny Notts (at the moment). On the subject of the rubbish bins, when I was a kid there was no recycling but the bin team consisted of six men, a driver. two who would come and carry the fill bins to the road side (no wheelie bins the old heavy galvanised ones) two who would hoist them up and empty them (no hydrolic hoists) and the last who followed along, put the bins back and cleaned up any mess they'd made. Now we do all the work and they moan if the wheelie bin lid isn't closed properly
