'I'm not indicating' day

I took the car into Swindon this afternoon. What a mistake.

No one told me that it was an 'I'm not indicating' day in town today.

To be fair, I suppose people could be trying to save their battery, or maybe, wear and tear on their fingers!!

And I exclude mobile phone users from the above remarks, as they can't be expected to use their indicators if they're busy making a very urgent call!

Oh blimey wiltsman, I had a hell of a time the last time I was in Swindon, you got to feel sorry for the poor buggers near the roundabout series. They probably didn't indicate cos they have no bloody idea where to go !! Mind you if is annoying eh ?

Welcome to welsh driving, sounds like you have had an invasion! It is very rare to see anyone using there indicators in Newport! And mobile phones kids without belts/booster seats etc, they just get there number plate written down and passed on with photo!

Well I work near Swindon and drive home on the A419. I'm sure there is a sign somewhere that says 'Indicating is optional', but I haven't spotted it yet

Didn't go near the Magic Roundabout today, although if we had more of them around the country they would help the traffic flow considerably.

Tony, if you weren't supposed to apply lippy while driving, then why do all cars have that handy make-up mirror in the middle of the windscreen? (Honestly, some people!!!)

When will drivers learn that the traffic will flow so much better at roundabouts and junctions if we have a clue where they are wanting to go???

I live close to a town that adores roundabouts and I marvel at the number of learners I follow who never indicate at and on roundabouts. It got so bad that I re-read the Highway Code to find out if it had been updated!
