Birro Pen on Leather

My daughter has drawn on my mums new leather sofa with a pen, anyone know how to get it off without damaging the sofa.

I have a sponge by flash (i think) - just white, from Robert Dyas - two in a pack...you add water and it is like magic, get's loads of stuff out...I haven't used on leather but if you go and have a look on the back it says what it can be used for. It is really handy and just under �2.

Methylated spirit is good for ball pen on clothes, not tried it on leather though

If neither of those work, try saddle soap.

Hi TopCat, I managed to get blue biro on my cream leater suite and after testing just plan flash and water for ill effects on the swatch if the leather hidden underneath the cushion, it worked a treat.

Infact, since then I have used this method to clean my suite regularly now, it takes up deep dirt a treat!

That should read plain* flash!

By the way - I only use one capfull of it in a basin of warm water :)

Get Stain Devil from your local supermarket, they have different ones for removing biro, chewing gum, etc.
