I suppose my most abiding memory of junior school is more about me than anything else, it was the last time I remember being what you’d call mentally healthy, no depression, no worries, no panic attacks, no OCD. It started going pear shaped in the 3rd year when a new male teacher (a novelty, he was the first we'd had) took a dislike to me as I was so slow at reading and writing and he used to get the whole class to stand up and sing 'come on Lyall' until id finished what I was supposed to do, yes, Mr Thompson has a lot to answer for!!
