Jamie Cullen can he sing?

Since Jamie Cullen appeared on the scene, I have heard his records, and for the life of me I cannot understand what all the fuss is about. To my ears he can't sing {in tune} and I just wonder if he's just hyped up by the media. Discuss

Hi Andy Boz I tend to agree, don't know if he can't sing, but his voice is definitely not suited to that type of music. He is no Chet Baker or Harry Connick Jr. that's for sure.

From what I know he seems to mainly do covers and all those I've heard he's murdered.

I know that a cover version that sounds exactly like the original is pretty pointless, but Jamie Callum?

To me, his covers are just so 'way off out there', just for being 'way off's' sake. He makes Vic Reeves' "club singer" numbers sound like faithful renditions.
