How can I stop this from happening.????????? I am not off line.? Just trying to get on Baycrazy.it was ok until I rebooted my computor back to factory settings.

I do that and I get a beep noise and a sign comes up "unable to connect.Operation Abortion"

On IE its under Tools on far right of page. What OS are you using, Windows 7 or XP ?

Go to Start/Settings/Network Connections.....is there a connection without a red cross ?

on the internet connections page there is nothing ticked that is the page that says "Internet connections".
When you said" start" do you mean left hand corner start?

if there no tick for internet connection, you will have to re-set or install your modem.

What modem are you using ?

But In answer you your question we are on sky broadband and I am using this laptop connected to a wire plug.

Well today there is no difference. When ever I try to get onto somesites it will not open and it tells me Operation abort. x
