Calling all cat lovers!!

Please can you help? My cat has had a stressfl year so far with 2 house moves and 2 visits to the cattery which has been unavoidable due to moving to a new area. She has recently developed bear patches on the inside of her two front paws. My daughter says she is ulling the hair out but I've not seen her do this. It's definitely not a skin complaint as had it checked at the vets. Has anyone else experienced this? Your advice would be appreciated. Thank you to anyone who can help.

Have you tried feliway? It's a relaxing diffuser for cats, if it is stress it should help. In the mean time try not to stress her further, give her somewhere quipped to go and hide or let her stay nearer if she is happier with that.

Yes Feliway......I have used it for my cats as one was spraying in the house. It does work

Feli way-works for dogs too!that and providing her a safe place to go if shes upset lie a cat bed etc x

Thank you for your helpful answers. I am currently using Feliway. I just wanted to check with other cat lovers if they have encountered this business of pulling out of fur from there front paws?

sorry to hear of your cats distress. Did the vet not offer any advice when
you explained to him/her?

The vet suggested Feliway but didn't really explain why she was pulling out her fur from her front paws.

Not the front paws no, but from wherever mine can reach. She started it about a year ago when she reached 18 years and hasn't really stopped since. Sleeps most of the time, wakes up, eats, washes herself a but then pulls her fur out in clumps for a few minutes, comes for a fuss then back to sleep again. Just old age the vet says, no real reason for it.
