The most loyal, most rewarding and at times challenging pets you can have!
I have so many wonderful stories about my canine compardres that prove what great animals they are but I won't bore you!
Although.......my favourite quick little tale goes;
I was walking my jack russell through a park on my own, at dusk, when I lived in a slightly dodgy area and surrounding the exit to the park was a big gang of youths making a lot of noise and generally being intimidating. I was very nervous about having to walk through this plethera of heaving testosterone.
I had up to that point thought that my little Twizzle wouldn't be much help with protecting me but was I wrong!! He obviously picked up on my nerves and went tearing towards them barking, behaviour very unlike him and certainly not encouraged under normal circumstances but he scattered the gaggle and we left the park unscathed and more importantly with our heads held high, picking our paws up with glee, tails waving good bye!
He is my little hero!
