What songs did the chi-lites sing? Were they a reggae band?

They were (and in a different line-up still are) one of the great vocal groups of 70s soul. From Chicago (hence the name), led by Eugene Record and Marshall Thompson. Most memorable song: "Have You Seen Her"

'Oh, I see her face everywhere I go
On the street, and even at the picture show
Have you seen her?
Tell me, have you seen her?'
