OH and I took eldest grandson out on the bikes today, went to local bike jumps, spent an hour there, then onto the next village for some lunch at the pub, pub closed for refurb, two miles to next village, went there, had lunch, OH said he knew a short cut back to the common, mile down a track, dead end. What should have been a ten mile ride turned into twenty, first time on my bike in a few years, aching already and dreading getting out of bed tomorrow.
