I get patches under my eyes that will feel prickly or will tingle, then become itchy. They are a bit red,and dry...plus the skin looks puffy and more wrinkled due to the dryness. When this first happened-about 6 years ago-my eyes would be quite inflamed, and I couldn't wear any makeup. It would start in cracks that got very red and sore.At the time it seemed to follow a weekly-10 day cycle-going from bad to worse-then better, and finally-starting all over.
Now-I am trying to see if diet has any thing to do with it...if I eat biscuits-or things with wheat-it seems to trigger a reaction.

My ex certainly had those symptoms around the eye area with eczema! He used to soothe it with unperfumed shes butter (usually loccitaine)...

His triggers were mostly dairy, and tomatos and OJ!! Xx

Funny you should mention tomatoes, tinks. After I had it so bad back then,I cut tomatoes out of my diet for a year or 2-I'd been eating loads.
Yepp"......sounds like eczema.

Try hydrocortisone cream.
I have recently had excema on my hands, triggered by a cleaning product, hydrocortisone cream seems to see it off.
He had to resort to putting steroid cream round his eyes...NOT advised by his doctor...was really bad, i sypmathise witn you!!!

I used to make a scrub of olive oil & sugar for him to use cos he had it everywhere and anything perfumed made it worse xx

Luckily it is not bad-more annoying than anything...and I don't think I'd want to use hydrocortisone cream on my eyes...
I think I have found some of the triggers-so that will help.
