I have started to face a problem with the burnt CDs, whether Data, Music or Movies.

I am using Nero Burning ROM v6.6.0.18, immediately after buring CDs if want to check the recorded contents in Windows Explorer or otherwise, nothing is there on CD.

But, after reboot the system every thing is perfect and in order.

Any comments and sugegstions.

Nero sometimes doesn't complete the burning process until either the system is shut down or the CD drawer is opened.

If you want to check the CD contents without rebooting, try taking the CD out of the drive and then re-inserting it. (It's quite likely that, when you try to eject the CD, you'll experience a short delay with a message telling you that the burning process is being completed).

Chris
have you opened the CD player and closed it again after burning?

if it still doesn't work, try taking the CD out and then closing the CD tray, then putting it back in again. What operating system are you running?
Jinx!
i had similar probs with nero - but you shouldnt need to reboot- just as others have said reinsert disc, or in my case another drive

Thanks friends for your kind responses.

Yes, after burning, the CD comes out of Recorders drawer, after that I again put it in to view, but in vain.

This is persistent not only with Nero but with Ashampoo Burning Studio too.

I tried the same viewing with CD-ROM also, and of no use.

Only after re-boot the system, every thing is fine, hope some other friend may also have encountered the same problem and will be able to guide.

Once again thanks for kind responses.
