I am having a spring clean..well summer clean, and I have some bottles of perfume that are long past their smell nice date. Is it safe for me to pour them down the sink or is it better for me just to put the whole bottle in the rubbish bin. (I live in a block of flats if that makes a difference).

Pour them down the sink. There's no particular harm. Any smell will be better than what goes down the drain already!
