Bought mini me a minimilk on the way back from play group as shes got a temp (40 and hasnt budged since last night) in my day they where about 20p,now there 59p!
Said mini me is now asleep on the sofa packed out with ice blocks and has a fan on shes cooling down slowly. This heat has scunnered her compleatley stoopid old infection!

Ahh now see im tight. If I have to buy an ice lolly for Mini Boo whilst out, she get's a 10p ice pop, and likes it :-)

lol, she didnt want a 10p one so got her a 'frozen milkshake' she dosnt cope with heat change at all :( shes still hot but asleep so i dont mind freezing my bum off for her!
Mmmm I'd love a mini-milk right now.
Seriously though have you been in touch with GP (sorry if I've missed something) a temp of 40 is significantly high, hope she's better soon too.
Bought a box of eight for 99p in the supermarket yesterday. Hope mini is feeling better soon, no fun being I'll in this weather.

we usally manage it ourselves by keeping her as cool as possible, she had mrsa as an an infant and since then has had trouble maintaining her body temp. In winter she looks like a mitchelin man the amount layers she wears. If it dosnt drop with more calpol then we will be off to the of hours. Just managed a couple of hour nap with her and shes still chatty and up to mischief lol!

normally she tolerate a migra leave forhead strip but not this time, she is in the paddling pool at the mo.
In this hot weather, youll find a big saving by buying ice lollies , cornettos and magnums from a supermarket, in multi packs offer a big saving. in price.

well, i am wishing i had given her some benadryl earlier! gave her 2.5ml and her temp came down in ten mins! got her some ice cream tonight shes an happy bub
Have you got a Farm Foods near you? Their ice poles etc are really cheap.

Now I don't know much but I know that is not the current rate of inflation
