motorola v500 `phone

i have had this `phone since this february.now its decided to not ring out. i have not messed with any settings. any ideas please.

I had trouble with my v600 because I kept in in my pocket with paper tissues and the fluff had blocked up the speaker hole. I picked it out very carefully with a pin and hey presto!

I think mine's like this. There are two buttons on the left hand side on the outside that get pressed inadvertantly. You either get mystery bleeps in your pocket or it switches to silent or vibrate. If yours has these buttons you push the lower one to cycle through the options and then the upper one to set your choice.

I find it very annoying.
