Babies crying

Neighbour behind me has a young baby that seems to cry all the time - for hours on end. Is this normal? It has been crying this morning for about an hour earlier and has just started up again. Only a young couple - don't know them so wouldn't say anything but can't believe its right to leave it to cry for so long.

How do you know they are leaving it to cry?

Maybe it's poorly, maybe it has teeth coming through, maybe it's struggling with the heat, maybe it's just one of those babies who cries a lot.

I don't know they are leaving it to cry maybe they are trying to shut it up but its not working, I was just a bit worried for it - if it was a puppy crying for that long I would have had it at the vets before now! This has been going on for days

I have probably only noticed it since the weather has been warm and they have had the doors and windows open. I have known several people with babies over the years and none have cried so constantly. Feel sorry for it
