if i download this to my win7 ultimate does that mean i can run when needed my
umax scanner,(no drivers for this on win 7) while running win7
prev Is it a VGA connection that you need to use a tv as a computer screen?

Possibly...

try it and see, virtual XP only has limited support for USB devices, so suck it and see, it won't hurt to try.

OH, that's assuming your scanner is USB!

IF it is you may find you can get it to work without the drivers using windows built in scanner software. if you post the model number of the scanner people may be able to help you more.

yeh chuck it's usb, umax astra slim SE
and thjers no driver in win7 for it
no worries i dont use it that often but like it to work when i do need it
