CD Query

Hi everyone I have downloaded an album onto my laptop and burned it onto a CD but it wont play on my Hi Fi /CD player. when I put the CD into my laptop it plays ok . will be grateful for any suggestions

What format did you use when burning to CD? Did you finalise the disc?

Have you accidentally burnt it as mp3 files?

If you have burnt it as a 'normal' music CD then you need to make sure that it is 'finalised' to be playable on your Hi-Fi

Yes i think I burnt it as an MP3 download, quite new to this

Which software did you use to burn the CD ?

Windows media ? i think.

Sorry - can't help - I use iTunes or Nero ...

Not all audio players will play all brands of CD-R's

Try it on a couple of other players, if it works on other ones you may just have to experiment to find a brand of CD-r that works on the player you want to use it on.

Hi just to say managed to do the CD dont ask how !!! think it was more luck than knowledge
