Presumably the Prince of Darkness wasn't that impressed with it then, or he'd have fixed it so all GB's competitors mysteriously fell over or caught measles or something

// Wouldn't it be terrible...bear with me...if...
He was right and we were wrong... //
Would it? life doesn't seem that bad with the lizards in charge. I'm being slightly selfish of course, but I'd be quite happy for the secret alien cabal to go on running things - as long as they don't decide to come out of their human disguises of course. I wouldn't want to see that on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Icke is an enigma. It's impossible to tell whether he's completely nuts or if he's just decided that he can make a good living acting as if he is nuts and selling loads of books.

''Icke believes fellow lizards include The Queen, George W Bush and the late country singer Boxcar Willie.''
Now whilst I can see that George W Bush could be a reptile, what did Boxcar Willie ever do?
Seriously the man is ill, granted there is a huge amount of money as a side effect because people find him amusing, but to him, if he really believes everything he says, his world must be terrifying, confusing and alienating, so I feel pretty sorry for him.

I don’t feel sorry for him. His beliefs are surely not much different to any other unjustified belief, so why consider him to be sicker than those who believe in a supernatural god? Because there are a lot of them and only one of him doesn’t make their belief any more rational than his. They're all irrational.
I think we all suspect David Icke's mentally ill.
I do find it quite disturbing that the media continue to encourage his paranoid fantasies for their own purposes book publishers as well as newspapers.
It would be nice to think that we'd moved on from pointing at people with mental health issues and laughing at them
Not yet it seems

As I said, he's deemed mentally ill because he's the only one who believes as he does (although he's probably got a few followers). Many millions believe in a supernatural god and all the magic and gobbledegook that entails - which is just as irrational - but because there are a lot of them, they are deemed sane.
