Went to pay for an item abroad - but new system of paying by visa (info from card) has to be EFT (Electronic Cheque) - Sorry guys way out of my depth - since I have left worked not up to date with new electronics. So what is next if I want to pay by EFT. Thanks for your answers.

I wouldn't use that method of payment at all. Anyone reputable would be able to accept credit/debit card payments. You have no recourse to refund with electronic fund transfer.
