What makes it worst, it that they're not the only parents doling out this kind of punishment to their children.

Why do you feel sorry for her - she lied in Court. Surely she should be done for contempt? Plus, her parents didn't stop her from being westernised, she was able to do what she wanted with her life.

It's hard to imagine what the poor girl must have being going through to oppose her Parents. IMO the sentence was Just that, not life.

Should have got 40 years each imo. In other words, throw away the key.

A terrible and tragic case, which would probably have never even come to light if one of the girl's teachers had not kicked up a fuss and insisted on enquiries being made when she failed to show up at school. Which makes you think how often kids go missing, even now that thousands of pounds have been spent on 'Every Child Matters' initiatives.
