After chasing after my granddaughter at the weekend I now know why women have a menopause at my age.
This morning I took one co-codamol at 7.30 and applied ibu spray at 8am. I intend to have two ibuprofen at 10.45am too
This seems to indicate to me that I have weak back muscles - I have no problems with standing and raising my legs but feel uncomfortable when I bend down.
I hope that by taking the tablets I will continue to be mobile without discomfort but I would like to increase the strength of these muscles so this does not happen again
Can anyone recommend any light excersises that would help

Sorry - Thanks in anticipation
Your GP should be able to provide you with an exercise scheme.
If you can swim, that is a good way of strengthening bad backs.

Yes I thought that would be the most obvious answer but I'm afraid that my lottery numbers did not come up and I cannot swim
