On MSN "Favorites" can anyone help me? how can I save my favorite list on disc ? (Using Windows XP) or how can i send them say to My Documents?

......Open IE and from the File menu select Import and Export ...this brings up the Wizard...select export favourites and then just follow the wizard.......browse for where you want to save them (My Documents?)and you will end up with an HTML file which contains your favourites.......commoner

Thanks Commoner, I have tried that and that works ok with the favorites on IE but still can not get the ones I want from MSN. On MSN favorites there is way to transfer favorites from IE to MSN but I'm trying to sort of do it in reverse, anyway thanks commoner for your help perhaps it cant be done, thanks anyway, ....sinbag

Hi again...I don't use MSN Explorer but this should help...

Do a search for favorites.xml on your computer. Thats what the MSN Explorer favorites file is called. Then go to this website http://www.linkagogo.com/go/Convert?informat=aol&out format=netscape and convert them to .html format, which you can then import into Firefox for IE and go from there...
You can also try this app, 'MSN Favorites Export Toolkit' from this website http://www.mainsoft.fr/en/downloads.htm

..mmm...sorry 'bout that...seems like it should be quite a simple job too...you did find the file favorites.xml I suppose?

It would be a hidden file I would expect so you would have to "show" hidden files in your file view options.........commoner.
