why is it that when i watch Sky channels on my tv the image is larger and crops the edges off, for instance with title sequences half of the names on the credits are off the screen and unreadable. I can alter the ratio of my screen to widescreen but it makes no difference.

Other people i know also have this problem with Sky.

Thanks.

Do you alter the aspect ratio on your TV or the digibox?

It sounds like the digibox is set at 4:3 instead of letterbox or widescreen.

ditto as kempie says...

services>(4) System Set Up>(1) Picture Settings> Picture Format.

Check your TV settings as well.

My widescreen TV has numerous settings including Widescreen, Cinema, and others.

If you move through them all you find you lose more or less of the image.
