Would it still be possible to get a mortgage if the applicant had a ccj?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.the problem is once you have a CCJ, the type and rate of mortgage available to you will decrease dramatically. You will probably still be able to get one, just at a ridiculous interest rate, many times that of someone without a CCJ. I fit's a ridiculous amount, and you intend to pay it, it kind of begs the question why you didn't pay it in the first place to avoid a CCJ
You can but there is a strict 28 day deadline for payment. Pay it via card- get an email confirmation from the company you owe that it's been paid, phone the county court up to let them know it's paid and they will give you an email address to send the confirmation to- do that and it will be removed within the next 28 days.
