Please dont laugh but....

There was a big spider in the bathroom earlier so I called mr. c to rescue me
as I'm terrified of the little blighters. Mr. c proceeded to flush said spider
down the toilet but the damn thing still doing the breast stroke and 'm desperate for a wee. i honestly dont fancy anything with eight legs trying to to tickle my bum. What would you advise?

Ours keeps trying to get in at night to sleep with us, but when I was in England she infested the house with fleas (obviously family weren't hoovering or paying attention), and I certainly do not want more, even though she has new flea collar. And it is warm outside at night, is she mad!!!
