has anyone ever done a course with them?? any feedback on weather they are any good would be much appreciated, thanks

I sent away for one of there courses filled in application form and sent back awaiting my "interview" it was 5 month before I heard whether I was going to be privalidged enough to be invited, by which time I had signed up for exactly the same course for over �600 cheaper.

So my feedback...save yourself the time (and money) and look here

assuming this is the sort of course you were looking at with them of course !!!

I only enrolled 2 weeks ago but yes it covers basically the same syllabus. You are assigned your own tutor to contact if you get stuck or have any queries in general. I am also doing this with a friend so we can practice the techniques on each other

I liked the fact I could work at my own pace rather than a predetermined one that CHYSALIS set. When you qualify you can use the H Dip after your name and can join the International association of independant therapists and practitioners

I can't speak for the course you've done, but from what you say it is distance learning whereas we offer substantial face to face training which is essential if you want to become a therapist! The price reflects this - you can't get "essentially the same syllabus" if you're not actually attending any classes, being supervised, etc. In my opinion, practising without a classroom based course is not enough. I wouldn't go to a doctor who'd done all her training by distance learning. The courses are now also accredited by the Royal College of Nursing.

As for waiting 5 months for a brochure- this is odd. All brochure requests are logged, sent out the same day, and followed up. If you hadn't received one and had called us, we'd have sent one special delivery.

And the interview is important!! We need to know you're safe to see clients.

I have trained with www.chrysaliscourses.co.uk and got to say, these guys are great. They are clearly not a fly by night outfit and not a company where you could register and get your cat trained like some I have head about.
They put me at my ease and they also made me feel like I wanted to do the course, trust is a big thing when you are investing in your own training. I have completed my course with them this year and I know that I got what I paid for. I'm confident and know I can apply what I have learnt and that is a huge bonus for knowing you have got good results.
These peeps are the best in the business, and I am also now a member of the National Hypnotherapy Soc as well. Brilliant stuff, try these you will be delighted.
