When my 5 elderly great aunts got together, the rest of the family wore tin hats or a suit of armour.
A case wouldn't have gone far though, one of them didn't drink (aye right)
The non-drinking great-aunt was out with her nephews (one was my dad) and various aunties. She'd had a few vodkas and ginger ales when the waiter asked if she'd like another vodka and ginger ale. Slightly hard of hearing, the youngest nephew (36) said to her in faux-russian type accent 'Do youo vant anuzzer ginger ale'
I suspect vino will be drunk in quantities; whenever we go out for lunch Mum always has a large Merlot, followed swiftly by another. However as her friend has to drive them all back to a local eating pub to meet us for the handover she may be quite restrained herself. DT I like the 'gulps' comment - that would be Mum on our lunch trips!
Morning all, too many to name names. Apologies, forgot to say good morning before Bonnie and I went for our walk. Not another soul on the beach. Heaven! Looks like it is going to be another gorgeous day. Yesterday was glorious. Wish now I had booked another week. Hope you all have a great day and to those suffering, my prayers are with you.
